Tom Hickling is a Windows Virtual Desktop Global Black Belt at Microsoft. Tom has over 25 years in enterprise computing and architecture, most of which has included end user computing in various forms, having extensive experience in Remote Desktop Services, Citrix and now Windows Virtual Desktop. Tom has been with Microsoft for five years, and involved with Azure Remote App which was Microsoft first attempt at RDS from the Cloud. It was also the precursor to Windows Virtual Desktop today. Tom is now responsible for assisting Microsoft’s largest customers in deploying Windows Virtual Desktop within their own environments. Tom is also an active member of the end user computing communities and an active blogger at tomhickling.com, as well as speaking at numerous events.
